In senior living communities, landscaping projects aren't just about pretty flowers. Some communities create landscaped spaces to encourage exercise and rehabilitation therapy, while others foster peace and serenity in tranquility gardens. Others put their landscapes to work by engaging residents in growing herbs, vegetables and fruit for the community's kitchens.

Show off your senior community's landscape architecture project in a new Landscape Architecture Awards for Healthcare Environments competition, a joint venture of Vendome Group, The Center for Health Design (CHD) and the Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments (SAGE).  The competition includes categories for senior living, acute care and behavioral health sites.

All the details for submitting your project are available on the award program page posted on the website of our sister-publication, Healthcare Design.
