Cambridge, Mass.-based PointRight Inc. has released a predictive analytics tool that helps providers understand their performance successes and shortcomings. PointRight's Five-Star FastTrack solution allows providers to view current five-star ratings, access the latest publicly available survey information, calculate staffing levels, compare their own ratings to national cut-points, and determine how making changes to the quality measure percentages would change their rating.
"[The solution] gives providers exactly what they asked for: Actionable insights they need to proactively manage their Five-Star quality rating," said Steven Littlehale, executive vice president and chief clinical officer at PointRight, in a press release. "Supporting quality initiatives with predictive analytics is crucial toward targeting improvement goals that will have the greatest impact on the Five-Star rating. With this service, providers will understand their Five-Star rating today, aim for the Five-Star rating they want in the future and easily see the steps needed to 'fast-track' their way toward achieving those goals."
