One of the highly anticipated rites of spring here at Long-Term Living is our “call for entries” for the OPTIMA Award—an annual program that confers national recognition on innovative, outcome-oriented staff teamwork in long-term care communities. The award showcases resident-centered care administered by staff who go above and beyond the call of duty.

The Long-Term Living team looks forward to the yearly influx of entries representing the best practices in our field and to profiling the winner in the September issue of the magazine. The winning community also merits a site visit from the Long-Term Living editorial team, which will present an attractive trophy in a ceremony honoring staff, management, and residents.

Does your community have a resident-centered program that merits recognition? If so, fill out this form to access the submission instructions. Good luck!
