Are your residents satisfied with the facility’s prepared meals? Comment on their feedback.

Comments:

-We actually just had a few of them comment and write a "thank you" note to our dietary staff for the wonderful meals they receive daily.

-They have a choice of what they want and when they want to eat

-#1 complaint, and rightly so: We have short order cooks who cannot think outside the box. We are killing our residents, especially diabetics.

-Tastes like it came from a can. What do your residents say about the food? Add their comments to the box below.

I would love to have contact information for those who indicated that their residents were not satisfied with their meals. There are good remedies available to improve this vital area of patient care. If they won't eat because the food is poor (largely due to low food budgets), a poorly nourished resident can cost the facility plenty in supplements, etc., not to mention poor PR.
