Completion: May 2001 Upon entering Riverside Terrace, occupants are greeted by a parlor area and a grand piano. Directly ahead is a common library area with extensive woodwork and a computer station for resident use. Visible through the library is the common dining room with a fireplace.

Seating alcoves were introduced along passages to provide spaces for impromptu gathering, rest and resident decoration for holidays. Resident entries have recessed doorways and niches that allow individualization of each one. Resident rooms incorporate places for personalization, as well, such as above the kitchen cabinets. Resident rooms are grouped in neighborhoods of 12, and the facility is planned for an additional neighborhood of 12 apartments.

Other elements of this design include a Florida Room, outdoor gathering spaces and porches, activity room or private dining room, and a beauty shop with a spa. The spa was carefully designed to provide accessible bathing in a noninstitutional setting.
